MAVIM has expanded its work of women’s empowerment by promoting Self Help Groups through various National and State level programmes in all districts of the state.  MAVIM’s  work  has been recognized at different level  

Ø      State Government has declared MAVIM as nodal agency for Women Development and Empowerment

Ø      NABARD special  awards for bank linkages & SHG promotion programme for 2003-04, 2004-05, 2005-06, 2006-07

Ø      Micro Credit Summit Secretariat Washington, which has acknowledged the efforts of the corporation in working to attain the  Millennium Development Goals of Poverty Reduction and Women’s Empowerment for the year 2004-05, 2005-06.
